“During my tenure as a Rajya Sabha MP, I sanctioned 13 development projects in Tripura amounting to ₹4 crore 57 lakh 37 thousand 591,” Deb said. He added that after being elected to the Lok Sabha, he continued the developmental work with renewed focus.

Combining his tenures in both Houses of Parliament, Deb said that a total of ₹14 crore 5 lakh 46 thousand 568 was sanctioned by the Centre and utilised for various development projects across Tripura. “These funds have been used for people-centric projects,” he remarked.
Detailing the works, Deb said that 19 water treatment plants were provided to schools, community centres and market sheds. “We have also supported buildings for medical services, yoga and indoor halls, ambulances, and open gyms to promote public health and fitness,” he said.
Apart from infrastructure development, Deb said he facilitated financial assistance from the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund (PMRF) for the people of Tripura. “I managed to secure ₹32 lakh 40 thousand 249 for 14 beneficiaries who were in need of urgent support,” he added.
