Agartala, October 14, 2025: Lok Sabha MP and former Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb met Union Minister for Power and Urban Development Manohar Lal Khattar on Tuesday to review the progress of key infrastructure initiatives in Tripura.
During the meeting, the leaders held an extensive discussion on ongoing projects in the state’s power and urban development sectors. Deb later shared details of the interaction on social media, highlighting the emphasis placed on the implementation of the ‘Lighthouse Project’ — a flagship housing initiative that leverages advanced construction technologies to deliver affordable urban homes.
“The Lighthouse Project is transforming housing in Tripura through modern, technology-driven methods,” Deb noted, adding that the meeting also covered several urban development schemes and future planning strategies aimed at improving city infrastructure across the state.
