The Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC), under the leadership of Thokchom Meinya Singh, former Lok Sabha MP, and Md. Fajur Rahim, Working President of MPCC, commemorated the 100th anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi’s historic election as Congress President.

The event, part of the “Centenary Commemorative Programme,” was observed with Congress leaders and workers in attendance. It was held at Congress Bhawan, BT Road, Imphal.

The programme highlighted Gandhi’s presidency during the Belgaum Session of 1924 in Karnataka, marking a pivotal moment in India’s freedom struggle.
