In a coordinated flood relief operation, the Assam Rifles, Indian Army, and State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) rescued 33 civilians from inundated areas of Vilhume Colony and SM Colony in Dimapur.

The operation was launched swiftly in response to a request from the Nagaland state government. A medical team was also deployed to the affected areas to provide essential care and support to the rescued individuals.
