Kohima, March 23: Renowned Nagaland musician Joey Woch has been announced as the brand ambassador of Saers Classical Guitar at the India International Guitar Festival in Kolkata.

The partnership initiative was led by Shri Peter Remedios, owner of Reynolds & Co. Woch, a performing artist and music teacher specializing in classical guitar and violin, brings over 25 years of teaching experience to the role. He currently teaches at the Margaret Shishak School of Music, the Nagaland Conservatory of Music, and his own Joey Woch Music Studio.

Trained under the late Margaret Shishak and Dr. Ren Merry at Patkai Christian College (Autonomous), Woch has conducted masterclasses, workshops, and concerts at international guitar festivals. He also competed in the Guitar Foundation of America’s XXVII International Classical Guitar Competition.

Beyond his teaching and performing career, Woch is the founding President of the Nagaland Classical Guitar Society and serves as Director of the Nagaland String Orchestra, furthering the growth of classical music in the region.
