Assam Rifles personnel extended timely assistance by donating blood to save the life of a 65-year-old woman undergoing treatment for leukemia at the District Hospital in Phek.

The patient was in urgent need of O-positive blood, and with her condition deteriorating, the hospital authorities and Phek village leaders reached out to the Assam Rifles for help.

Responding swiftly, the personnel donated the required blood units, enabling a life-saving transfusion and highlighting their continued commitment to public welfare in the region.
