Kohima, Oct 6: The 9th edition of the Captain N Kengurüse, MVC Memorial Football Tournament 2025 will kick off on October 22 at IG Stadium, Kohima, with 20 teams from across Nagaland.
The finals will be played on November 6. Ahead of the tournament, the official poster, mascot, and theme song were unveiled today at a ceremony held in Kohima Science College, Jotsoma.
The event was organised by Assam Rifles, in collaboration with the Nagaland Football Association, under Operation Sadbhavana. The official mascot, ‘The Mithun Warrior,’ symbolizes strength, unity, and resilience.
