Nagaland Chief Secretary Reviews Dimapur Floods, Directs Immediate Relief

Kohima, July 10: In light of continuous heavy rainfall leading to waterlogging, blocked drainage systems, and displacement of families, the Dimapur District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) held an emergency meeting on Wednesday at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office.

Nagaland Chief Secretary J Alam, who addressed the meeting, emphasized the need for prompt field-level action and close coordination among all concerned departments, including the Dimapur Municipal Council and the Police, to manage the emerging flood-related challenges effectively.
