Kohima, Nov 27: Nagaland Chief Secretary Sentiyanger Imchen on Wednesday chaired a high-level coordination meeting with Administrative Heads of Departments and Heads of Departments at the State Civil Secretariat in Kohima. He stressed the need for strict adherence to procedures, proper file processing, and regular briefings to Advisors and Ministers.
Expressing concern over an increase in legal setbacks for the state, Imchen urged all departments to manage legal matters proactively and ensure effective defence of government cases. He also emphasised the importance of digital transformation and directed every department to appoint a nodal officer for eOffice to improve workflow efficiency.
The Chief Secretary further informed officials about the upcoming Pre-Christmas celebration and instructed the Home Department to coordinate preparation activities with the Chief Minister’s Office.
