Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio and Deputy Chief Minister Yanthungo Patton met Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah in New Delhi on Saturday to deliberate on development and peace-related initiatives in the state.

Sharing details of the meeting on his official X handle, Chief Minister Rio expressed gratitude for Amit Shah’s continued support to Nagaland, particularly in promoting peace and development.

Deputy Chief Minister Patton, who accompanied the Chief Minister, also shared that the meeting was meaningful. He acknowledged the Union Minister’s consistent commitment to Nagaland’s growth and expressed appreciation for his support in efforts to ensure a secure future for the state’s people.
