The second phase of the 8th Session of the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly resumed on Thursday, with Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio scheduled to present the State Budget for the financial year 2026–2027.
According to official proceedings, the day’s agenda includes discussions on matters of urgent public importance, if any, along with the presentation of Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) reports and the supplementary demand for grants for the financial year 2025–26, among other listed business.
The Assembly is expected to take up discussion on the State Budget on Friday.
