Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, accompanied by Deputy Chief Minister Y Patton, called on the newly elected Bharatiya Janata Party national president Nitin Nabin in New Delhi on Tuesday.

Advisor to the Chief Minister Abu Metha and MLA Achumbemo Kikon were also present during the meeting.

During the interaction, Rio congratulated Nitin Nabin on assuming office and wished him a successful tenure. Patton said the meeting provided an opportunity for a cordial exchange of views on matters of mutual interest and conveyed their good wishes as Nabin takes on his new responsibility.
