Nagaland Chief Minister Dr. Neiphiu Rio on Wednesday virtually laid the foundation stones for nine Lighthouse School Complexes (LSCs) under the Nagaland Education Project The Lighthouse (NECTAR).
Speaking at the event held in Kohima, Dr. Rio noted the ongoing efforts to reform the state’s education sector.
The nine new LSCs will be established in government high and higher secondary schools across the districts of Chümoukedima, Phek, Kiphire, Zunheboto, Shamator, Noklak, Longleng, Mokokchung, and Dimapur. With these additions, the total number of Lighthouse School Complexes in Nagaland rises to 16.
