Nagaland Delegation Explores Business Opportunities With Japan

A high-level delegation from Nagaland, led by Adviser to the Chief Minister Abu Metha and Advisor for Industries & Commerce Hekani Jakhalu, held a series of meetings in Tokyo with Japanese companies, NGOs, and other stakeholders to explore potential collaborations and development partnerships.

The delegation also included officials from the Investments and Development Authority of Nagaland (IDAN) and the Department of Industries and Commerce. The discussions focused on attracting investment, fostering innovation, and identifying joint projects to benefit the state’s youth and economy.

Sharing the update on his official X handle on Saturday, Abu Metha stated that the team remains committed to creating new opportunities for the youth of Nagaland. He emphasized that the initiative is being carried out under the guidance of Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, with the goal of expanding the state’s global engagement for a stronger future.
