Imnainla Jamir, a guitarist from Nagaland, has been officially endorsed by the globally recognized guitar brand Ibanez, making her the first female Ibanez artist from India.

This milestone marks a significant achievement for Jamir, as well as for Nagaland and the Indian music community, highlighting the growing international presence of Indian musicians.

The endorsement was facilitated by Hoshino Gakki (Ibanez Japan) and Music Distribution Company, Mumbai, who recognized Jamir’s talent and provided a global platform for her music.

Local music organization TAFMA was also acknowledged for its ongoing support and efforts in nurturing artists from the region.

Jamir’s achievement is seen as an inspiration for young musicians, particularly women, demonstrating the impact of dedication, skill, and authenticity in advancing music careers internationally.
