The Nagaland government on Friday launched the Integrated Data Platform (IDP) Nagaland in Kohima, aimed at strengthening education governance through a unified digital system. The platform brings together the state’s education-related datasets into a single interface to support data-driven planning and decision-making.

The IDP currently features eleven dashboards covering key aspects of school functioning, providing a consolidated overview for administrators and stakeholders. The platform is expected to support monitoring, analysis, and policy implementation across the education sector.

While launching the platform, advisor Yhome said the IDP would enhance the functioning of the Vidya Samiksha Kendra, the state’s central facility for education data analysis and decision support.

Alongside the IDP, the education department also introduced SwiftChat, an application designed to streamline daily digital communication within the education system. In addition, the Samagra Shiksha Civil App was launched to digitally track and monitor civil works undertaken under education-related schemes.
