Kohima, July 24: In an effort to strengthen public health initiatives, the Government of Nagaland officially launched the Health Worker Guide, Brief Advice Protocol, and Tobacco-Free Village Guidelines on Wednesday in Kohima.
The launch was led by S. Tainiu, Secretary of Health and Family Welfare, in the presence of Principal Director Dr. Mereninla Senlem and officials from the department.
The newly introduced resources are aimed at equipping frontline health workers and community institutions with practical tools to encourage behaviour change, provide brief cessation advice, and promote tobacco-free environments across the state.
