Kohima, May 24: Nagaland Minister for Power KG Kenye on Friday called for increased efforts to develop the state’s untapped energy resources.

At the inauguration of the 2.4 MW Duilumroi Hydro Electric Project in Poilwa Village, Peren District, he noted that despite more than 60 years of statehood, Nagaland’s power generation capacity stands at just 26 megawatts.
The minister highlighted the state’s rich natural resources and urged stakeholders to actively work towards harnessing these energy potentials.
