Kohima, Aug 5: MLAs Kevipodi Sophie and Dr. Tseilhoutuo Rhutso, accompanied by Kohima Deputy Commissioner B. Henok Buchem, Additional SP Soriso Quinker, and other officials, conducted an on-site inspection of the damaged road stretch near the BSF camp in Kohima.

The inspection was prompted by the deteriorating condition of the road, which has become nearly unmotorable due to the constant movement of heavy vehicles. During the visit, officials acknowledged the urgency of the situation and assured that immediate measures will be undertaken to repair the road and ensure commuter safety. They also stated that long-term solutions are being explored to prevent further damage.
