Kohima, May 20: Nagaland has achieved its highest-ever monthly Goods and Services Tax (GST) collection, registering ₹122 crore in April 2025. This is the highest monthly collection recorded by the state since the GST was implemented in July 2017.

The April 2025 figure marks a 41.8% increase from the ₹86 crore collected in the same month last year.

According to official data, the number of registered GST taxpayers in Nagaland as of April 2025 stands at 11,019 comprising 4,432 under the Central GST authorities and 6,587 under the State GST authorities.
