In the run-up to the 9th Captain N. Kenguruse, Maha Vir Chakra (Posthumous) Memorial Football Tournament scheduled to begin on October 22, a vibrant road show has been launched across Nagaland.
Organised by the Assam Rifles in collaboration with the Nagaland Football Association, the event honours the legacy of Captain Neikezhakuo Kenguruse, a Kargil War hero remembered for his bravery and inspiration to the youth.
Held under the theme “One State, One Game, One Goal,” the road show aims to promote unity, sportsmanship, and enthusiasm for the upcoming tournament. Events have already taken place in Kohima, Phek, and Zunheboto, with the campaign continuing today in Chipobozou, Tseminyu, and Wokha.
