Districts including Mon, Tseminyu, Niuland, Dimapur, and Kohima are forecast to face heavy rain and thunderstorms from July 16 to 21. Other districts will likely see light to moderate rainfall, which may increase during this period.
Low-lying and foothill areas such as Dimapur, Niuland, Chümoukedima, Bhandari, Baghty, Tizit, and Tuli are at risk of waterlogging and flash floods. Residents are advised to take precautions, avoid floodwaters, and protect important documents and valuables.
