Kohima, July 16: Kiphire district will host the Longmatra Mango Festival in Longmatra village to promote local mango produce and provide direct market benefits to farmers.

Speaking at the Kiphire District Planning and Development Board meeting on Tuesday, EAC Takatemjen stated that the festival will include participation from 13 villages and showcase four varieties of mango.

Longmatra, known as the gateway of the district, will act as a center for self-help groups and entrepreneurs to display mango-based products such as tea, snacks, and porridge.
