Kohima, May 28: In preparation for the upcoming Viksit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan scheduled from May 29 to June 12, the Wokha district administration held a coordination meeting on Tuesday at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office.
The meeting was chaired by Deputy Commissioner Vineet Kumar and focused on effective planning and smooth execution of the campaign. The Abhiyan will cover 108 villages across the district over a span of 12 days.
To implement the programme, three teams each including an agricultural scientist will visit nine villages daily. The campaign aims to reach out to more than 16,000 farmers during the course of the initiative.
