Kohima, July 21: A group of residents from a local WhatsApp community in Wokha have undertaken temporary repair work on the road leading to Wokha District Hospital, which had remained closed for nearly five months following the collapse of a culvert in February.

The residents extended financial support and arranged steel materials to construct a temporary passage, enabling the movement of light vehicles to and from the hospital. The community-led initiative aims to restore basic access until permanent repairs are carried out.
