Agartala, October 9, 2025: In a significant boost to Tripura’s healthcare infrastructure, Neuburg Pulse Diagnostics, one of India’s fastest-growing diagnostic chains, has officially launched its first state-of-the-art laboratory in Dharmanagar, North Tripura. The company has also announced plans to invest over ₹20 crore to establish diagnostic facilities across the state within the next two years.

The new center was inaugurated by Youth Affairs & Sports minister Tinku Roy, alongside Sunaina Bihani, CEO and Managing Director of Neuburg Pulse Diagnostics and renowned Cardiologist Dr Tomojit Nath, who has been in partnership with the diagnostics company. The facility, spread over 1,500 square feet, marks the company’s first venture in the region and positions Newburgh Pulse as the first national diagnostic brand to establish a lab in North Tripura.

Before this development, patients in the district often had to travel over 150 km to Agartala for routine and specialized medical tests. The newly opened Dharmanagar facility aims to change that by providing faster, more accurate results and reducing the turnaround time for critical diagnostics.

Equipped with advanced technology, the lab can process over 2,000 samples daily and offers more than 6,000 types of tests, including routine, super-specialty, and advanced diagnostics such as ultrasound, ECG, echo, TMT, PFT, genomics, and proteomics. The center will also offer home sample collection, digital smart reports, health packages, and consultation support.

Speaking at the inauguration, Sunaina Bihani said, “With this inauguration, we are not just opening a lab, we are opening doors to better healthcare for the people of North Tripura. Our goal is to ensure that no family has to wait days for crucial test results. We aim to bring world-class diagnostics closer to every household.”

Neuburg Pulse Diagnostics already operates in Agartala through its partnership with Prime Care Hospital. The Dharmanagar lab will serve as a diagnostic hub for North Tripura, Unakoti, and adjoining districts of Assam, including Karimganj and Hailakandi, significantly improving healthcare accessibility in the region.
