In a separate development, police also made headway in a criminal investigation, arresting Nepuni (35) of Khridziiphi Village in connection with rape and assault charges stemming from an incident at Ngamju village on May 17. This marks the second arrest in the case, while one suspect remains at large.
Authorities said the operations are part of intensified efforts to combat drug trafficking and related crimes across the state.
