Agartala, November 01, 2025: In a major step to boost tourism and promote communal harmony, the Tripura Tourism Department has announced the “Unity Promo Fest 2025”, a month-long celebration to be held from November 8 to December 12 across all districts of the state.

Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury made the announcement today, highlighting that last year’s “Promo Fest 2024” served as a successful pilot project, drawing massive public participation at venues such as Narikel Kunja, Jampui Hills, Agartala, and Neer Mahal.

“Encouraged by the overwhelming response last year, we decided to expand the festival statewide. It will not only highlight Tripura’s tourism potential but also create new livelihood opportunities for local communities,” the minister said.

This year’s festival will begin with a grand inaugural event at Narikel Kunja on November 8 and 9, featuring food stalls, cultural performances, and a fashion show. The festivities will then move to Belonia on November 15–16, where playback singer Palak Muchhal will perform, followed by Udaipur (Nov 19–20) with a concert by Papon.

The scenic Jampui Hills will host performances by a Mizoram-based band on November 28–29, while Neer Mahal in Sepahijala will come alive on December 4–5 with a show by Indian Idol winner Debojit Saha. The festival will conclude with a grand finale in Agartala on December 11–12, featuring Jubin Nautiyal live on the final evening.

Chowdhury also noted that several tourism development projects worth crores are in progress to strengthen infrastructure and enhance visitor experience.

“The Unity Promo Fest 2025 is not just about tourism—it’s a tribute to Tripura’s unity in diversity,” he said, calling it a festival of togetherness, culture, and shared identity.
