PM Modi Lays Foundation Stone Of ₹7,300-Crore Development Projects In Churachandpur

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today laid the foundation stone of 19 development projects worth over ₹7,300 crore in Churachandpur.

The projects include the Manipur Urban Roads, Drainage and Asset Management Improvement Project, the Manipur Infotech Development (MIND) Project, working women’s hostels at nine locations, super speciality and assured speciality healthcare facilities in remote and hill districts, 10 projects under the NESIDS and NEC schemes of DoNER, and five National Highway projects under MoRTH funding.

Addressing the gathering, the Prime Minister urged all organisations to embrace the path of peace and assured that the Government of India stands firmly with the people of Manipur. He reiterated the Centre’s commitment to restoring normalcy in the State, announcing support for building 7,000 new houses for families affected by the violence.
