The inauguration ceremony was attended by Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha, Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu, MP Biplab Kumar Deb, Minister Sushanta Chowdhury and other dignitaries.

Earlier, PM Modi arrived at MBB Airport in Agartala on Monday afternoon, where he was received by Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor and MLA Dipak Majumdar, Chief Secretary JK Sinha, West Tripura District Magistrate Dr. Vishal Kumar and senior police officials. He then proceeded to Palatana OTPC by helicopter, where Chief Minister Dr Saha and Governor Nallu extended a ceremonial welcome before accompanying him to the temple.

To mark the occasion, the entire temple city of Udaipur was adorned with elaborate decorations, including floral arrangements and lighting. Security was heightened across the city, with multi-layered cordons, drone surveillance, and round-the-clock monitoring by central and state forces. The temple priests performed three sacrificial offerings, including the official one, as part of the customary puja. The sanctum and surrounding premises were meticulously prepared to reflect the spiritual and cultural significance of the site.
