Agartala, February 22, 2026: Tripura Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha on Sunday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s monthly radio programme Mann Ki Baat has become a source of inspiration for the entire nation, connecting citizens across households and communities.

Speaking at Mukam Para Junior JB School under Booth No. 43 of Mohanpur Assembly Constituency during the broadcast of the 131st episode of Mann Ki Baat, Dr. Saha emphasized that the programme reflects the collective voice of the people rather than just the Prime Minister’s personal thoughts.

“Through Mann Ki Baat, the Prime Minister presents the aspirations and stories of ordinary Indians. It is not his own monologue, but the voice of the nation condensed into half an hour,” Dr. Saha said.

Highlighting examples of talent and determination from Tripura, the Chief Minister recalled meeting a young woman co-pilot from the state who had successfully operated a train to Agartala. “This proves that our state is not short of talent. Every community—tribal, Manipuri, minority—must come together to advance Tripura, and in turn, India,” he added.

Dr. Saha noted that every booth in the state had organized viewings of the programme, with many citizens also tuning in from their homes. He described the latest episode as “deeply moving,” citing the Prime Minister’s mention of a young child, Alien Sherin Abraham, whose parents donated her organs after her untimely death. “This act of humanity inspires us all. In Tripura, kidney transplants have already been successfully performed, and discussions are underway for heart and liver transplants,” he said.

The Chief Minister further stressed the importance of willpower and resilience, pointing to para-athletes who have overcome physical challenges to excel on the global stage, including the Paralympics. “Our government is committed to supporting such talents, and the Prime Minister continues to highlight their achievements,” he remarked.

Dr. Saha also referred to Modi’s acknowledgment of unsung heroes like Raj Gopal Acharya, underscoring the Prime Minister’s effort to honor forgotten patriots. Additionally, he mentioned Modi’s emphasis on innovative agricultural practices, such as utilizing ponds to boost farming productivity.

“Through Mann Ki Baat, the Prime Minister inspires the nation. His messages guide us, and we too can draw strength from them,” Dr. Saha concluded.
