Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Short Visit to Mata Tripura Sundari Temple Today Marks Major Milestone

Agartala, September 22, 2025: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to arrive in Tripura on Monday for a brief but significant programme at the historic Tripura Sundari Temple in Udaipur, Gomati district. The visit will see the inauguration of the temple’s beautification and development works.

As per the official schedule, the Prime Minister will land at Maharaja Bir Bikram (MBB) Airport in Agartala around 2:40 PM and proceed by helicopter to Palatana Helipad, reaching there by 3 PM. From the helipad, he will travel by road to the temple premises.

During his visit, PM Modi will offer prayers at both the Tripura Sundari shrine and the adjoining Shiv Mandir. He will also formally inaugurate the newly completed development projects. The programme will feature devotional kirtans performed by members of the Jamatia Hoda community, followed by a brief interaction with Pradhan Samajpatis, the traditional tribal leaders of the state.

The visit is expected to wrap up before 4 PM, after which the Prime Minister will depart from Udaipur.
