Scorpions Return To India After 18 Years, Kick Off ‘Coming Home 2026’ Tour In Shillong

Shillong, Jan 8: German rock legends Scorpions are set to return to India after 18 years, kicking off their “Coming Home 2026” tour with a concert in Shillong. The band last performed in India in 2008.

The tour will begin on April 21 at JN Stadium in Shillong, followed by shows in Delhi-NCR at HUDA Grounds on April 24, Bengaluru at NICE Grounds on April 26, and concluding in Mumbai at Jio Gardens on April 30.

Speaking about the tour, vocalist Klaus Meine said, “We are incredibly excited to finally be touring India again after such a long time and are looking forward to meeting our many, many fans in India. The concerts will also be a very special experience for us.”

Founder and guitarist Rudolf Schenker added, “Sixty years after the band’s founding, we’re bringing our Coming Home concert to India. It will be a unique celebration for our fans and for us.” Lead guitarist Matthias Jabs said, “Finally playing in India again and on top of that our now iconic ‘Coming Home’ concerts—will be spectacular and unforgettable for us as well.”

Formed in 1965, Scorpions have released 19 studio albums and are known for hits such as “Rock You Like a Hurricane,” “Still Loving You,” “Send Me an Angel,” and “Wind of Change,” with albums including Love at First Sting, Blackout, and Crazy World.
