In a series of coordinated operations, Security Forces and Manipur Police arrested four individuals linked to extortion and militant activities across Imphal West and Bishnupur districts.

On October 5, 2025, Security Forces apprehended an active cadre of the KCP (PWG), identified as Rajkumar Sanathoi Singh (18) of Naoremthong Laishram Leirak, Imphal West district, from his residence. Singh was allegedly involved in extortion activities targeting shops, businesses, and the public in the valley area. A .32 pistol with one magazine and a mobile handset were seized from his possession.

Earlier, on October 4, 2025, a team of Security Forces arrested a self-styled Lieutenant of the RPF/PLA, Khangembam Manglemba Singh alias Sunny (46) of Kumbi Thana Leikai, from Ningthoukhong Ward No. 2 under Bishnupur Police Station. Investigations revealed that he had been monitoring the movement of security personnel and relaying the information to his group. A mobile phone and SIM card were recovered from him.

In a separate operation on October 5, 2025, Manipur Police arrested two individuals involved in extorting money from vehicles along NH-02 near Keinou Bazar under Bishnupur Police Station. The arrested persons were identified as Sarangthem Dinesh Singh (29) of Nambol Oinam Awang Leikai Ward No. 2 and Khundrakpam Mohen Singh (25) of Keinou Thongthak Mongkhang Leikai, both from Bishnupur district. Police recovered a two-wheeler, a mobile phone, and a SIM card from their possession.
