Security forces have recovered a cache of arms and ammunition during a search operation in Kangpokpi district, Manipur, on Sunday. The operation, carried out by a combined team of central and state security personnel, targeted areas including L Jangnomphai and Freedom Hill.

The seized items include a 7.62 mm self-loading rifle, a 9mm pistol, a single-barrel gun, a double-barrel gun, a pompi gun, four hand grenades, four stardyne explosives, and four electric detonators. Authorities have launched an investigation into the origin of the weapons.
