Kohima, July 30: Sentiyanger Imchen, presently serving as Additional Chief Secretary and Finance Commissioner, has been appointed as the new Chief Secretary of Nagaland.
According to an official notification issued by the Department of Personnel & Administrative Reforms, Imchen will assume charge on Friday, succeeding the incumbent Chief Secretary Dr J Alam, who retires on Thursday upon superannuation.
Imchen is expected to serve in the post until January 2027, when he is scheduled to retire upon attaining the age of 60 years.
