Agartala, January 25, 2025: Tripura’s seven police personnel have been recognized with President’s Medals on the occasion of Republic Day.

G.S. Rao, Additional Director General of Tripura Police, has been awarded the prestigious President’s Medal for Distinguished Service (PSM).

Additionally, six officers have been conferred with the Medal for Meritorious Service (MSM). The recipients are Bijoy Debbarma (Superintendent of Police), Manik Das (Superintendent of Police), Panna Lal Sen (Deputy Superintendent of Police), Ajoy Debbarma (Deputy Superintendent of Police), Shyamal Debbarma (Deputy Superintendent of Police), and Niranjan Debbarma (Subedar).

The list of MSM awardees also includes Roisiama Darlong, a dedicated Home Guard.

This recognition highlights their exemplary commitment and contributions to the state’s law enforcement and public service.
