Gangtok, May 30: Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang on Friday handed over housing allotment orders to beneficiaries under the Sikkim Urban Garib Awas Yojana and Sikkim Garib Awas Yojana at his official residence, Mintokgang.

The Chief Minister expressed his happiness in seeing the beneficiaries receive housing support, reaffirming the state government’s commitment to providing basic amenities and ensuring dignified living for all families.

The beneficiaries who received allotment orders are:

Srijana Bhujel of IBM Rangpo

Madhu Kumar Chettri of Majhuwa, Upper Rangang

Jordan Tamang of Tinzerbong, Kamling Suldung

Karma Tamang of Badong Thansing, Khamdong

Suren Rai of Nazitam, Martam

Hemlata Chettri of Daramdin

The schemes aim to assist economically weaker sections in the state by providing affordable housing and improving their quality of life.
