Gangtok, May 22: Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang met Union Power Minister Manohar Lal Khattar in New Delhi on Thursday and extended a formal invitation to participate in the year-long celebrations marking the 50th anniversary of Sikkim’s Statehood.

The Union Minister accepted the invitation and expressed his willingness to visit Sikkim to take part in the commemorative events.

The Chief Minister conveyed his gratitude to the Union Minister for his continued support and goodwill towards the people and the state of Sikkim.
