Namchi, Jan 20: The 71st Maghey Sankranti Mela continued on Tuesday with the Grand Finale of the Golden Voice of Sikkim, Golden Feet of Sikkim, and Golden Beat of Sikkim competitions at the Public Playground, Jorethang.

Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang attended the event as the Chief Guest. He was accompanied by Cabinet Ministers, MLAs, Political Advisor, Press Secretary to the Chief Minister, Advisors, Chairpersons, Heads of Departments, and other dignitaries.

The Chief Minister received a warm reception from officials and event organisers upon arrival. The competitions are designed to provide a platform for local talent, encouraging professional careers in the performing arts while enriching the cultural significance of the Maghey Sankranti Mela celebrations.
