Gangtok, Nov 26: Sikkim observed Samvidhan Diwas on Wednesday, with Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang leading the state’s celebrations at Manan Kendra. The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of upholding the values enshrined in the Constitution of India, which rests on the pillars of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity.
During the program, the Chief Minister led the reading of the Preamble and participated in activities aimed at enhancing public awareness of the Constitution and its principles. Addressing the gathering, he urged citizens, particularly the youth, to uphold constitutional ideals in daily life and contribute to building an inclusive society.
He also highlighted the need to renew the collective commitment to the vision of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and the framers of the Constitution as Sikkim continues to pursue progress and development.
