Gangtok, Jun 3: Sikkim Governor Om Prakash Mathur conducted an inspection of the Indreni Bridge at Singtam on Tuesday in view of the rising water levels in the area.

During the visit, the Governor interacted with officials from the concerned departments, members of the Singtam Nagar Panchayat, and local residents to assess the on-ground situation.

He urged residents in and around Singtam to remain vigilant and instructed the departments to take all necessary measures to ensure the safety and well-being of the public.

Commissioner-cum-Secretary to the Governor, Jitendra Singh Raje, and other officials from Raj Bhavan accompanied the Governor during the inspection.
