Siliguri, Jan 3: The newly appointed Chief Justice of the High Court of Sikkim, A. Muhamed Mustaque, arrived at Bagdogra Airport on Saturday.

He was received with warm protocol by Registrar General of the High Court of Sikkim, Karma Wangchuk Bhutia; Additional Advocate General, Zangpo Sherpa; State Liaison Officer and Additional District Collector of Gangtok, Tshering Norgyal Theengh; Joint Registrar of the High Court of Sikkim, Avilash Kumar; and Additional Secretary, Home Department (Bagdogra Unit), Sharmistha Pradhan, along with Assistant Protocol Officer, Gopal Pathak.

The swearing-in ceremony of the new Chief Justice is scheduled for January 04, 2025, at Ashirvad Hall, Lok Bhawan, Gangtok, Sikkim.
