Gangtok, May 15: Sikkim MP Indra Hang Subba met Governor Om Prakash Mathur at Raj Bhavan to extend greetings on the occasion of the Statehood Golden Jubilee and to discuss key issues concerning the state.

Subba highlighted the concerns of the 12 left-out communities and reiterated the demand for seat reservation for the Limboo and Tamang communities. He also discussed the proposed railway project connecting West Sikkim, which has been approved for an initial survey, along with issues related to road and national highway infrastructure in the region.
The Governor responded positively to the concerns raised, acknowledging their importance for the people of Sikkim.
