The two-day National Workshop for State Legislators on Energy and Environment, organised by PRS Legislative Research, concluded in New Delhi on Friday.
Members of the Sikkim Legislative Assembly — Aditya Golay Tamang, Delay Namgyal Barfungpa, Erung Tenzing Lepcha, Kala Rai, Madan Cintury, Pamin Lepcha, Sonam Tshering Venchungpa, and Sudesh Kumar Subba — participated in the workshop.
The final day of the event featured discussions on topics including Water Resource Management: Issues and Approaches, Environmental Policies and Regulations: Frameworks and Challenges, and Sustainable Transport in India: Impact and Infrastructure.
