Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang launched the ‘Connect to CM’ platform at Samman Bhawan on Monday, aiming to bring governance closer to the people of Sikkim.
The citizen-centric initiative is designed to empower residents to voice concerns, access essential services, and communicate directly with the Chief Minister’s Office. The service will be operational from October 14, 2025, and can be reached via phone at 80016-81188 and 93327-81188, between 10:30 AM and 4:00 PM daily, including government holidays and festivals.
Speaking at the launch, the Chief Minister said, “This initiative is in line with the government’s vision to reach the last person. Our focus must be to truly ‘Connect the Unconnected’.” He urged officials to work efficiently and prioritize public service.
The launch also included the unveiling of the Chief Minister’s Schemes Integrated Management System, a digital platform to monitor and implement all schemes under the Chief Minister’s Office.
Political Secretary Jacob Khaling, Press Secretary Yougan Tamang, Principal Secretary SD Dhakal, Secretary CMO Karma Namgyal Bhutia, and other officials were present during the launch.
‘Connect to CM’ integrates technology into governance to enhance efficiency, accountability, and inclusiveness, reinforcing the government’s commitment to the ‘Aangan Ma Sarkar’ initiative.
