Gangtok, May 14: In a move to promote tourism and celebrate Sikkim’s 50th Statehood Anniversary, Rangpo Nagar Panchayat has inaugurated a newly developed Selfie Point along National Highway 10.

The project was initiated under the direction of West Pendam MLA LB Das and stands as a symbol of community pride and progress. The inauguration ceremony was led by Rangpo Nagar Panchayat President Sanjeev Kumar Khati, accompanied by Vice President Radha Pradhan, Councillors Pinku Prasad, Sanju Manger, and Larishna Tamang.

Officials including the Municipal Executive Officer, Assistant Engineers, Junior Engineers, Bazar Inspector, and Panchayat staff were also present. The Selfie Point is expected to become a key attraction for both residents and tourists visiting the area.
