Sikkim’s Aparna Rai Takes Part As Digital Creator At Rising Northeast Investors Meet 2025

Aparna Rai from Sikkim was invited by the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER) to represent the state as a digital creator at the Rising Northeast Investors Meet 2025, held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi on May 23 and 24.

Selected through a competitive process among digital creators from Sikkim, Aparna was the sole delegate in her category. She highlighted the state’s potential in key sectors and its role in contributing to national development.

The event was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and brought together investors, policymakers, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders to explore trade and investment opportunities in Northeast India.

Union DoNER Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia also addressed the gathering, emphasizing the region’s strategic importance and the government’s focus on sustainable growth and improved connectivity.

Aparna expressed gratitude to the ministry, stating it was an honour to contribute in her own way to the region’s development.
