Sikkim’s U-11 Boys and Girls Badminton team will be participating in the prestigious U-11 Mini Nationals 2024, which will be held in Thane, Maharashtra, from December 4 to 7. The event, organized by the Badminton Association of India, will bring together young talent from across the country.

The Sikkim team, led by Chief Coach Sameer Gurung, includes two promising players: Avnesh Chettri and Suravi Gurung. Both players have undergone rigorous training to prepare for the national competition.

The General Secretary of the Badminton Association of Sikkim expressed confidence in the team, stating, “We are proud of the dedication our players have shown. The Mini Nationals will provide them with a great opportunity to showcase their skills, and we are confident they will represent Sikkim with pride.”

The Association has urged the people of Sikkim to extend their support to the players as they compete on the national stage.
