Gangtok, May 24: Yamuna Chettri from Sikkim secured the silver medal in the women’s 65-70 kg Tanding (Fight) category of Pencak Silat at the 1st Khelo India Beach Games 2025, currently taking place in Daman & Diu.

Yamuna, along with fellow athlete Eloma Subba, qualified for the Games following their performances at the 13th Senior National Pencak Silat Championship held from May 9 to 12 in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.

The Sikkim Pencak Silat team is being guided by coach Bhim Bahadur Subba, general secretary of the Sikkim Pencak Silat Association.
